The NordicTrack Vault solves a problem most home fitness products ignore: where do you put everything? Most smart mirrors are elegant but stand-alone — you still need a separate rack of dumbbells, a mat rolled up in the corner, bands hanging off a door handle. The Vault's proposition is fundamentally different. It looks like a floor-to-ceiling mirror from any angle in the room. Open it and it's a full gym: six pairs of dumbbells, two kettlebells, resistance bands, a mat, yoga blocks — all organised on internal shelves, ready to go. For anyone living in an apartment or a space-constrained home who wants a complete gym that doesn't announce itself as a gym, the Vault is the only product in its category that truly delivers.

The 32-inch HD swivel touchscreen embedded in the mirror frame is the command centre. It streams iFIT's library of 10,000+ workouts across every category imaginable: strength circuits with the exact dumbbells and bands stored inside the Vault, HIIT, yoga, Pilates, barre, boxing, recovery stretching, and more. The screen rotates a full 360°, meaning you can pivot it to face you whether you're standing, sitting, kneeling, or lying on the mat. Three front-facing speakers fill the room; the Bluetooth pairing for headphones is seamless. The touchscreen interface is clean and responsive, and navigating the iFIT library while hands are occupied is straightforward. The only technical limitation worth flagging: the Vault does not have a built-in camera, so there is no AI-driven form correction or rep counting — you monitor your own form using the mirror surface and follow the instructor on screen.

The iFIT platform is where the Vault earns its recurring cost. The content library is vast and genuinely high-quality: production values are strong, the trainer roster is diverse and skilled, and the progressive workout series are well-structured for beginners building from scratch and intermediate lifters looking for structured programming. Live class events, challenges, and goal-specific series (8-week strength foundations, 4-week flexibility, marathon prep cross-training) give the platform structure that a generic dumbbell-plus-YouTube setup can't replicate. iFIT Family plan is $396/year for up to five profiles — meaningfully cheaper than the Peloton All-Access at $600/year — and the same membership works across NordicTrack treadmills, bikes, rowers, and ellipticals, making it excellent ecosystem value if you own or plan to own other NordicTrack equipment.

The Complete package's equipment quality held up throughout testing. The dumbbell set (5 lbs through 30 lbs in six pairs) is cast iron with a rubber coating — solid, not cheap, with enough range for most beginner-to-intermediate strength training. The 20 lb and 30 lb kettlebells are well-balanced. The three loop bands and three resistance bands cover light, medium, and heavy resistance levels. The textured exercise mat is adequate for floor work. The two yoga blocks are standard foam. For most iFIT strength, yoga, Pilates, and mobility workouts, you will not need anything beyond what is in the box. Serious lifters will hit a ceiling — the heaviest dumbbell is 30 lbs and there are no barbells, plates, or cable resistance — but the Vault is not designed for powerlifting, and no reasonable buyer should expect it to be.

The design as furniture is genuinely impressive in practice. In our test apartment, we placed the Vault in a living room corner and challenged every visiting guest to identify it as a piece of fitness equipment before we told them. None did. At 72.65" tall and just 24.25" wide, it sits in a room the way a wardrobe or tall bookcase does — inconspicuous, even attractive. The carbon steel base is heavy enough that tipping is not a real concern, though an optional wall anchor is included and recommended for households with children.
