AgodaCash is Agoda's cashback reward currency. When you book eligible hotels, flights, or activities through Agoda, you earn a percentage of your booking value as AgodaCash — typically between 3% and 12% depending on the property and deal type. The earned AgodaCash is credited to your Agoda account after your stay is completed and can be used to pay for any future Agoda booking with no minimum spend requirement.

Each AgodaCash award has its own expiry date, typically 90 days from the date it was credited to your account. Your overall account balance doesn't expire as long as your Agoda account remains active (at least one booking or login per 12 months). AgodaCash cannot be transferred between accounts, converted to cash, or used outside the Agoda platform.

The majority of Secret Deals and Flash Sale rates on Agoda are non-refundable — this is typically how hotels offer such steep discounts. If you need flexibility, use the Free Cancellation filter in Agoda's search results, which shows only refundable rates. These are available across the full inventory but will typically be priced higher than Secret Deal non-refundable rates. A useful strategy is to book a free-cancellation rate first, then monitor the Secret Deal price; if it remains available closer to your trip and you're committed to going, you can cancel your refundable booking and rebook at the lower rate.

Yes, consistently. Agoda maintains a category of App-Only Deals that are exclusively available on the iOS and Android apps and not displayed on the desktop website. In our testing, App-Only rates were typically 5–10% cheaper than the best available desktop rate for the same room and dates. The app also displays all Secret Deals and Flash Sales, earns AgodaCash in the same way as desktop, and allows price alert setup for specific properties — a feature not available on desktop.
